I had forgotten how frustrating but fun a 500 piece puzzle can be!! Jake got this over a year ago when Cub Scouts spent the night on the Lexington. He asked many many times to put it together, but I think he thought it would take a few minutes to finish and then we could move on to something else. So...we pulled it out and worked on it for about a week. The boys and I worked together. Mike and Sophia had no interest in it. And...we did it. Now it has been put back into the box and we have another 500 piece to work on. It's a fun way thing to have out and work together on.

Remodeling....
Our house has changed drastically in the past 6 months. I'd say things are about 95% done. Still some trim work and we need a backsplash in the kitchen. But....everything is so close to being done and looking SO good. Hard to even remember what it looked like before!!!
Pixie Skate....
Time to use some Groupons...which means a few outings to the skating rink. Sophia always has a good time....she loves the music!
Beware of the cowboy skater that is holding a gun...he's a tough guy!
Joshua threw one doozy of a fit while we were there. It was hard not to laugh when he looked so cute!
VBS
All three kids (hooray!!!) took a trip to Babylon this week for VBS. It was a fun filled week and they had a great time.
They tranformed the gym into a marketplace. Our new DCE really did a fabulous job!!
The "ninja" who wouldn't get up in the front to sing...but did all the motions and knew all the words. Sunday, June 10, 2012
Missions Game....
It was Cub Scout Night at the Missions baseball game last night. A fun night with lots of food! The best part was probably the ice-cream....but the fireworks were pretty good too! After the game, Mike and Jake camped out on the field. Camping out is a relative term...I think they got about 3 hours of sleep! The day after has been a bit rough but at least the boys were able to take naps.
Dance Class
Sophia is signed up for 8 weeks of dance class this summer...and she is very excited!! Tap, ballet and jazz for an hour and 15 min each week. She couldn't be happier!! Tap shoes are pretty loud....especially when most of your house has tile floors! :)
