Spring Break in Breckenridge

The Hannas asked if we wanted to come to Breckenridge with them for spring break. Brittany's college roommate has a ski in/ski out condo with plenty of room for 10 people. It was the most incredible trip. Rylie came with us. There was tons of snow!!! It seemed like it snowed for days straight. The kids had so much fun and since it was right on the slopes, we didn't have to stay together as a group. We could stop by the condo whenever we needed a break! 

Breckenridge is HUGE!!! We only saw a small part of it. Skiing, sledding, hot tub, polar bear plunge (only Joshua!!!), great food, shopping, getting the car stuck in the snow....and lots of laughs. I think it was one of our best family trips!  

 

Sweet Sixteen!!!

Happy Birthday Sophia!!! 16 and ready to drive! It was an extra fun day because she got out of school early for a hair appointment. Then we went way downtown for the driver's test....which she passed! Thank you Coach Savage. Then we took a chance and stopped by the DPS to see if she could get a walk-in appointment and not have to wait until the morning. Thanks to a nice lady...we were in and out in about 15 minutes!!! Plus she has an awesome driver's license pic thanks to the earlier hair appointment! It couldn't have worked out any better! 

She got her present a couple weeks early. We looked and looked and looked...and finally found this needle in a haystack. A 2005 Lexus at the right price with low miles and immaculate interior. She was so excited! 

We did a big family dinner at Papadeaux and then back to our house for cake and presents. 

 This was such a happy birthday...and having two extra drivers in the house is so nice!! We are so proud of you and know this year will bring lots of happiness!
