Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving at the ranch!! Jake made it "home" on Tuesday! 

Both boys got bucks on the same night. 

We found the fallen eagle nest tree...and it's so big!! Can you spot Joshua??

It was a long visit to the ranch and we had so much!! 

Junior Players

We went to Emmy in the Junior Players performance of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

 Emmy was all smiles on stage!!

Homecoming

Sophia and her friends looked so beautiful for Homecoming. They took pics at The Pearl, then went to dinner and the dance. 

 

Family Weekend at Tech

Family Weekend at Tech was at the end of October....and they were playing Baylor! We were so excited to go. The Fairall's have a house there so they invited all the San Antonio people over for a 

BBQ before the game. 

Lots of kids and families!!

We walked around campus, ate at the dining hall and toured The Rec.

There was so much to do before the game. Tradition is to wrap Soap Suds before each home game.

It was such a fun game!!! And Baylor won!! We had some not so great Tech fans around us but they finally realized Baylor was going to win! 

Our Red Raider didn't sit with us. :( I asked him to come up to see us during the game. But he didn't. And sadly we didn't see him again before we left on Sunday. By the time we left the game we were all super tired and cold. And Sunday he slept super late!

NHS Induction

We're so proud of Sophia for being inducted into NHS this fall. It was a short ceremony since they do the majority of the inductions in the spring. Rylie was there as an NHS Officer.

Cousin Camp 2022

We did CC over a three day weekend. Jake drove in from Tech. Activities included...Fossil Rim Wildlife Safari, campfire, sleepover, lots of games and a creek stomp. We even tried to recreate the famous crying CC picture from 2011

 

Visiting Jake....

Towards the end of September I really wanted to see how Jake was doing at Tech. We were supposed to see him over Labor Day but Mike had Covid so we couldn't go to the ranch as planned. I did a quick overnight trip to make sure he was okay....and he was totally okay!!  We did a Target stock up run, ate some good food and went bowling. So good to see him doing so well at school.
