Game On...

Today was soccer day #2. Even though the thermometer said 80...I think it was about 180. So so so humid. The kids really didn't want to play because it was so hot...and I don't completely blame them!! Sophia's game was at 9:15. Jake plays at 2:00. WOW....it will be crazy hot by then!

Sophia is all about the social part of soccer...not the playing part!

Baptism....

Our nephew is going to be baptized tomorrow and it will be such a special day. I made this lovey-size blanket in honor of the day. I think it turned out so cute. And I love that I finally figured out the "right" way to do appliques with my embroidery machine!

So excited to have a niece!!! I was able to make a 27 hour whirlwind trip with

Joshua and Sophia in tow to see her at the hospital.

Can't wait to have more time with her!!

Soccer Coach...

What to do when the uniforms are burnt orange and black....well...you make a shirt that looks like this:I still need to put her daughter's number in the middle of the soccer ball. I didn't have any orange embroidery thread. I think it turned out pretty cute. Not exactly what I would wear...but it's good for 4 year old soccer!

Duck Duck Goose...

This is what I found in Sophia's room after she left for school yesterday. The rest of the room was completely cleaned up because our cleaning lady was coming. I guess the princesses just had to be together!When I asked her about it...she said the princesses were playing Duck Duck Goose. She just cracks me up!!!!

Oh the Possibilities

I finally figured out how to do appliques the "real" way. SO much more polished and professional looking. Yeah!!! I can't wait to play more. This is for a friend....I hope she likes it!!!
