Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve at church...I was able to get the cousins together for a quick pic. Vivi and Sully were with Noel for the holidays.

Sophia and I played handbells at both services. Check out our lovely shirts. :)

Jake woke us all up about 7:30 on Christmas morning. I thought big kids slept in???

Then we headed to Mom's. We took about 25 pics trying to get one that was pretty good!

And Ruby needed to be in a picture too!

It was a low key Christmas this year. We just finished all the house renovations and the kids didn't have a ton on their lists. So they all got a few things plus some money to spend. It was super warm...at least 80 degrees! A little cooler weather would have been nice. But Christmas 2021 was a good one!

Mac Basketball....

Basketball has been a lot of ups and downs for Sophia this year. But she has done really well on JV and gotten a ton of play time. Now if we can just make it through the season without any more major meltdowns!!!

Northwood Tradition....

It's a Northwood tradition to have a group pic of all the seniors and 8th graders who went to Northwood to go in the Mac and Garner yearbooks.

It was so much fun for this group of seniors to be together!!! Such a good group of kids! And I can remember almost all of them as Kindergartners at Northwood!

Joshua's group is not quite as big....and very low on boys. There were 2 or 3 other boys that didn't come. Happy that they had 4 cute boys to represent this class!

Remodel!!!

After 3 strike-outs with contractors, a customer gave me the name of someone they had used and really liked. She was SO right. They came in and worked nonstop until the laundry room, both bathrooms and hallway built ins where finished. K.C. and his guys were so easy to work with. All the work was finished in less than 6 weeks. We couldn't be happier with their work!!! Everything looks so updated and fresh. Hard to believe we waited almost 15 years to do it!

Baylor vs Tech

Over Thanksgiving we had tickets to see the Baylor vs Tech game. We had a ticket for Mom, but she decided not to go. It was predicted to be really cold and rainy so Lucy said she would brave the weather with us!

It ended up being cold but ok for most of the game. Towards the very end it started to rain.

We had so much fun! It was a great game and it came down to a field goal in the last few seconds. From where we were sitting, it was hard to tell if it was good or not!!! But the Tech kicker missed it (first miss all season) so Baylor won!!!

We had lots of food...thanks to Mary giving us the Baylor Club pass. The amount of trash under our seats was extreme!!!

Winning this game meant that we had to go home and watch the OSU vs. OU to see if Baylor made it to the Big 12 Championship!

Such a fun time and I'm so glad we went!!

Brahma March...

Golf didn't participate in the Brahma March this year...but we went to see Sophia. Kind of hard to get a picture when she was hiding from us! :)

Garner football....

The 8th graders always get to play a game at Comalander Stadium. It's a chance to play on turf and under the lights. It was a beautiful afternoon/early evening and we loved watching out #25....even if they didn't win! :)

8th Grade Football

We love #25. Joshua played hard and liked football (some of the time). Sadly they didn't win any of their games. He is probably hanging up his helmet after this season!

Not sure where Jake's pictures went. But we can at least remember Joshua and Sophia in 8th and 10th grade.

Garner Pep Rally

The pep rally this year was held outside. It was about 1000 degrees, but there were so many parents and so much school spirit. Mac parents brought the big brahma and the cheerleaders came to help too. I didn't get any close-ups of Joshua. But he is # 25!

Officially a Teenager!

We now have 3 teenagers in the house. Our baby has grown up!! His birthday was on a school day, so we took these quick pictures. And then had cake again with the cousins over Labor Day weekend.

Joshua brings lots of laughs to our family. He is growing up so quickly. He has such a sense of humor, is so handsome and doing so well in school! This year (and last year in middle school) will be a good one!! We can't wait to see what's in store!
