Kid Pics...

Brenda's students were doing mini sessions.....so I booked a last minute photo shoot for the kids. Soon we need to do family pics!!! I might be a little based, but they are some pretty good looking kids!!!

Merry Christmas!!!

 Merry Christmas 2019!!! I think this was the year I took the fewest pictures ever!!! We had the usual Christmas Eve at church and then went to Shirley's. Both Jake and Joshua were acolytes at church....and they were pretty cute!! I was able to get a quick cousin pic before the kids 

changed clothes!

We got one family picture....next year my goal is get lots more pics!!! The older the kids are, the harder it is!!!

Christmas Day excitement.....

So much time and effort on all the wrapping...and it's gone so fast!

After we opened presents at our house, we went to Mom's for presents and lunch. Overall it was a little lower key than other Christmases...but a beautiful day filled with presents, good food and fun!!

Thanksgiving Break....

 We spent most of Thanksgiving week at the ranch. The weather was great and of course the food was amazing!!! It was Mary and Brad's year at be at the ranch, so there was lots of good cousin time!!

Jake has me by almost 4" now!!!

Ranch time = puzzle time!!

  We all helped with the cooking. And there were lots of desserts!!!

 

New wheels....

Jake doesn't have his license yet....but we have been looking for a car and finally found one that met most of the criteria!!!A 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee!!! And it's a fabulous dark green!!! The interior is so clean and the leather looks almost brand new. 

Jake and I had test drove the car a few days before I actually bought it...and he was all smiles when picked him up from golf practice!!!! How it's time for him to finish the rest of his driving hours.

Halloween....

I only got one picture on Halloween!!!! Joshua went trick or treating with Robert and he got 10 

pounds of candy!! Talk about a big haul!!! 

Volleyball Season....

Sophia had another great volleyball season. She played hard and they seemed much more like a team than they did in 7th grade. You can really see how far they have come!!!

Family Reunion.....

 Mom and Margie organized a family reunion in mid October. It was a great weekend and so many family members were able to come...even some from California!!! Dugan and Dolores were the only ones from Gen 1.

6th Grade Skate Party...

The annual 6th grade skate party is always so much fun. The kids have a blast and it's fun to watch them hang out with friends! Joshua didn't want to come but ended up having a great time. 

Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch....

Mike was gone on his long hunt to Colorado and the kids had a 3 day weekend. We decided to drive through the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch...and it was so much fun. There were so many animals and a lot of them came right up to the car. We were hoping that the ostriches would come to the car...but no such luck!!

Hugh Jackman!!!

The Hugh Jackman show in Vegas was SO good....so when he announced that he was coming to San Antonio, I knew we had  to go!! Tickets were not very expensive and I thought the kids would enjoy it!!! We had pretty good seats and the kids had a great time...but they didn't last for the whole time! 

He puts on such a great show!!! 

Meet the Brahmas!

 Meet the Brahmas is the kickoff  for the school year at Mac. They have a BBQ dinner with pep rally and announce all the teams. Hard to see, but Jake was there for golf. It was probably 110 degrees and 99% humidity...but it's always fun to see the kids get so excited and happy to be a part of the team!!

First Day of School!!

Here we go 6th, 8th and 10th grade!!! Back down to only 2 schools and NO early morning athletics practices....life is looking good. Praying they all have a good school year!!

Birthday Boys.....

 We had a belated birthday dinner for Jake and Brian...and 2 days early for Joshua. Shirley had a cake made with baby pictures of all 3 boys. So cute!

And this guy is officially 11 now. He had to go to school on his birthday, but it was still a happy day for him!! He got the snow cone maker he has been wanting and we had dinner at Alamo Cafe to celebrate. He brings so much fun to our family!! We are so proud of him and can't wait to see what God has planned for him!
