Jake is 18!!!

Hard to believe we have another adult in the house!! 18 years has flown by with this guy. It's so much fun to see him grow up into the happy, helpful, smart and handsome young man that he is today. This year will bring lots of "firsts" and we can't wait to see what this year has in store for him. We love you so much Jake!

We celebrated by going to Top Golf. We had a lot of fun, just the 5 of us! Jake got this special dessert for his big day.

Higher Things....

Youth Group went to the Higher Things Conference in Grand Rapids, MI. It's the 3rd long road trip the kids have been on this summer!! About 20 hours in the van. We didn't get very many pics, but the kids all seem to be happy!!!

Kansas Trip...

Our family trip this year was a road trip to Kansas for a Reith family reunion. We spent one night at the ranch....look at the incredible sunset.

We spent 4 nights in Kansas. We shared a lodge with Tim and Brian and the kids. It was a dorm type set up with 4 bedrooms that each had their own bath. The basement had the kitchen and family room area....along with a ridiculous amount of stuffed animals.

This is Travis and Amanda's dog....he got LOTS of attention!

Cousin fun at the farm.

Sightseeing in Wamego.

On the way back to San Antonio, we stopped and spent 2 nights with Dad in Ft. Worth. We had never been to his house (or really Ft. Worth at all). We did all the touristy things and spent time at his house hanging out and swimming.

Deer Creek Fun!

Year #6 at Deer Creek was two weeks of fun! Jake and Sophia were both in the LIA group (Leadership in Action) so they had more responsibilities and helped out around camp. Jake can do one more year of LIA and then he is officially too old for camp (except for being a counselor!). Grant went for two weeks too. Lucy and Jackie came for the second week.

So many pics of all the fun!

Closing ceremonies are always fun. I love hearing what their counselors have to say!

When Mary and Brad dropped off the girls, they were able to get a couple pics!
