Merry Christmas!!

What a wonderful week we've had. It's been busy...but not too busy!! We've been perfecting the art of being lazy the past few days. It's been so nice!!!

The kids started off the break with Christmas parties at school. It's so nice that I'm not a Room Mom this year...so I could "party hop" and visit each class!

A little cookie decorating....

A little "minute to win it" game...

A little "toss the candy" game....and a whole lot of food and fun in each classroom!!!

The next big thing was a cousin cookie decorating party at Brian and Courtney's. The kids had so much fun! Courtney made some amazing sugar cookies and there were a TON to decorate!!

Here are the 3 Wee Wille's ready to go to Christmas Eve service. :)

And...the first picture of all 7 Wille cousins! What a group!! Vivienne doesn't know what she's in for!!!

The kids got a lot of Vivienne time!

Joshua and Sullivan playing in their "boat."

And....finally...Christmas morning!!!! The excitement level was almost off the charts!!!
Santa brought some clothes, Legos, a Monsters University toy, a Barbie and Spot It!

Sophia's happy face when she was opening her American Girl doll....Saige!

The boys spent a lot (quiet) time building their new Lego sets!!!

Santa brought a bottle of Coke. Mommy and Daddy gave him snake boots. Life is good!! :)

Where Did Decemeber Go???

December is flying by. I've never been through a Christmas working in a retail store...and Sew Embellished has been swamped. Wow!!! There is a light at the end of the tunnel though.

We've had some fun family outings...caroling on the river boats with church. It was cold!!! But we bundled up and had a great time!!!

The annual Christmas program at church. The angel Gabriel, a "regular" angel and a donkey did an extra fine job!!!

And a Christmas recital for piano. Sophia played "Away in a Manger" and Jake played "Joy to the World." Both did a wonderful job!!!

The countdown is on until Christmas. Most of our presents are bought and wrapped. A few more orders to work on...but it will all get done in time! Looking forward to a very Merry Christmas!!

What a Difference a Year Makes....

This time last year I was very down because Ole Marketplace had NOT gone well. I was left with a lot of inventory and scrambling to get it sold and not be out a ton of money. I had a pipe dream of taking the leap of faith and buying a professional embroidery machine. Thankfully Mom was able to help and WOW....I am still in a bit of shock about how things are going. This year has been a whirlwind of hard work and learning. Thanks to the support of family...Sew Embellished has really taken off. I know that now through Christmas will be nonstop crazy and I'm a little nervous...but I will get through it. So thankful that I'm able to stay at home and work, make money and enjoy what I do!! And if you stay still too long at our house...you might get monogrammed. :)

I Am Thankful For...

I am thankful for cousins....a very cold morning didn't stop us from taking a hike. And finding lots of animal tracks, seeing a few deer, playing in the deer blind...and running off some energy!!!

Tough ranch men...

Thankful for time in the deer blind with 2 out of my 3 favorite guys! Love how Joshua is carrying the snack bag. :)

He is on the lookout! Amazing how a little guy with SO much energy loves to sit in a deer blind for 2 hours!

I'm thankful for mornings in Bosque County where our kids get to see wildlife close up. VERY close up on this morning. I could not believe all the kids watched Mike field dress the deer. But they were so excited and Mike was happy after a successful morning hunt!

I am thankful for good cooks and helpers in our family! I think Mom's meal was extra delicious this year!

Evidently sticking your tongue out helps with stirring spinach. :)

I'm thankful for these kids that have SO much fun together. What a wild and loud bunch.

And very thankful for our family. We had such a good Thanksgiving and we are blessed to have eachother.

Another Wille Girl!!!

We were so happy to share in the excitement of Tim and Noel's little one...Vivienne Marie! I think Sophia was the most excited!!! We were all hoping for a little girl, but knew the boy genes were pretty strong!!! Vivienne was born on Friday the 22nd. We got to see her the next day and they even let the kids into the hospital room. They each got a turn to hold her for a minute. So thankful for another healthy baby and a chance to buy more pink!!!
