After Dinner Fun....

 How do you pass the time between dinner and bath time?? Shoot BB guns in the backyard!

 

 

 And make unique door decorations out of colored popsicle sticks! Sophia worked hard on one for our door and for her own door!

 

What We've Been Doing....

Celebrating with Kyle for his 1st Birthday. Toys that were big hits...the dog guitar and the new wagon!!

 

 

Making lots of bread! In my continued effort to eat clean (have you seen how long the ingredient list is for store bought bread???)...I have been testing out new bread recipes. This one has turned out the best (by far!!). Now I need to work on adding whole wheat flour to it.

 

 The kids aren't in any after school activities (except for Jake...Cub Scouts and tutoring)....which means we have lots of time for the park! Trying to get the kids out and active for awhile each day. We've been to a park almost every afternoon.

 

 And....this is how all 4 year olds dress for bed in Texas when it's 90 degrees outside....right?? He didn't want wet hair on his pillow. :)

I'm an Artist!!

 Last night 3 of us went to Painting With a Twist. The place where you can BYOB, have some fun with friends and they walk you through a step by step painting. It was a lot of fun! Everyone ends up with basically the same thing, but it's fun to see how they are all slightly different. I'm pretty happy with mine! No clue where I will put it though!! I would love to go again and see if they have a kids class. I know Sophia would really enjoy it!!

 

Labor Day at the Ranch....

Mary and her family were out all of Saturday and some of Sunday. Sullivan came with mom and Shirley since Tim and Noel were spending the weekend away for their anniversary. Margie and Gary had their camper parked out front and came to celebrate Dugan's 89th birthday. Lots of fun over the weekend!!!
