California Aventure...

After a very long fun filled day in Havasu, we

headed back to Kelly's house. We left late. And were on a 2 lane road in the middle of no where when we got stopped by a train. And I mean stopped....as in...the train was not moving. So, we hung out on the highway for awhile until it got started again.

The next morning we hit the road for California Adventure World. It's right next to Disneyland but a separate park with more of the Pixar characters. We had some "get to the front of the line fast" passes thanks to Kelly's brother in law.

Saw a few fun characters like Phineas and Ferb!

Went on some really fun rides!!!

Got to say 'hi' to Jesse.

Radiator Springs was amazing!!! They made it feel like you were right in the movie. So much fun!!

 

CA Trip Day 1...

I decided it was finally time to document the big CA trip!!! Our first night and day in Havasu. The kids became fast friends!!!

 

And we spent most of Sunday on this fun boat. It was docked at the beach. Kelly's step dad also had his boat so we could go out on the lake.

We had such a good time at the lake. The kids swam hard and were all worn out! We left Havasu in the evening and headed for the William's house!

3177 Miles....

I wanted a road trip this summer...and I got it!!! 3177 miles to California and back. Lake Havasu, California Adventure Park, the beach, Disneyland, The Cove Waterpark, Phoenix River Ranch and White Sands....all packed into 10 days. So much fun!! The kids were great travellers. I couldn't have asked for a better trip and better friends to spend time with. So thankful for Kelly and her family.

Summertime Means....

 

Hanging at the pool with friends!! Joshua met up with two cuties from his class the other day at the pool. We plan on being at the pool A LOT this summer!!!

Hello Kinder, 2nd and 4th Grade!!!

 

What a wonderful school year!!! Good bye to much loved teachers and a pre-school that has been part of our lives for the past 5 years! It's hard to move on...but excited to see what next school year brings!
