Double Digits...

Ten years has gone by so quickly!!! From this little guy....

 

To this big 10 year old...in the blink of an eye!!! We love you Jake!!!

 

Another Great Week at TBarM....

It was another great week for the kids at TBarM. They have SO much fun and are able to spend a week with friends, counselors who really love kids, spending lots of time playing, swimming and have F-U-N!!!

 

I made lots of shirts for Sophia and her friends to wear...Cowboy Day, Mission Impossible and Alpha/Omega Day.

 

The counselors at TBarM are SO good. It's great to see highschool/college age kids who really love what they do and are such a positive influence on the kids.

Sophia was lucky enough to have Tori again this year.

And...wonders never cease!! On the drive up to the closing ceremony on Friday afternoon...Joshua was very quiet...and when I saw this...I was pretty surprised!! It takes a lot for these kids to crash out in the car!!

 

Next summer we will hopefully have one day camper and two overnight campers???

Headed Home....

After 5 nights in CA, we headed back home. Kelly and her family made a last minute decision to come to Phoenix and stay in the same hotel as us. It was a fun hotel with a waterpark...and all 6 kids were very happy swimming...which meant extra time for Kelly and I to talk before we left.

Such a great time and such wonderful friends!!! Can't wait to visit again!

Our last fun stop was White Sands, NM. It was beautiful and the kids had a blast sledding.

 



I wanted a road trip this summer...and I got one!!! 9 nights, 2300 miles, lots of memories and fun. I can't wait to go again!!

Disneyland....

We headed to Disneyland on a grey morning....and it was a bit chilly!! The kids were so excited. The Disney magic was in full effect!!!

 

We spotted Storm Troopers and Sophia jumped in for a quick pic!

They have incredible parades!!! The kids loved watching and seeing all the characters!

 

 

Took a little spin on the cars...Sophia and Jake got to drive!!

Disneyland at night is so pretty!!!

 

 

We finally left the park about 8:00 and walked to Downtown Disney to the Lego store. Jake had been saving his spending money for it!!! They had some incredible displays!!

 

 

After shopping we grabbed some quick hotdogs and pretzels for dinner and sat outside the gates for the fireworks. It was a beautiful show and such a fun way to end the day. We had such a good time!!! 

And...after 10 hours at Disneyland...we had 3 sleepers on the way home!! And that NEVER happens!!! I think they were out before we left the parking lot!!
