Valentine Pics...

Brenda was scouting locations for Valentine mini sessions...and I had some new Valentine shirts that I wanted to show off...so we took the opportunity to take these cute pics....

 

Over the Weekend....

It's been a weird past week for us. Four sickies (only Jake has stayed well!), a ice day....lots of time at home. But over the weekend we did manage a little fun...

 

Saturday was the annual Cub Scouts Pinewood Derby. All 3 kids made cars. Jake won the "Most Animal Like" award for his Gator Mobile.

Both big kids had basketball games.

Joshua and Sophia spent a lot of time playing "school." Pretty funny to watch!!! :)

 

Jake's New Look...

Back in December we got a note from the school saying that Jake had failed the vision screening. They were right!! Now he is stylin' with 2 new pairs of glasses!!! He picked both frames out and was sure they were "it"...and he's right!! He looks SO handsome!!! And can see so much better too!

Go Spurs Go!!!

Jake and Sophia have had perfect attendance so far this school year...so they earned free Spurs tickets through the school. We finally picked the date and bought all the tickets so we could have a fun family outing. Yes...our seats were a bit high....but the kids LOVED it. So much fun and the Spurs won!!

 

One Last Celebration....

We celebrated Christmas with mom, Mary, Brad, Grant and Lucy on Saturday. We like to stretch things out. :)

 

Lots of presents and fun!! Grant decorated Joshua's present with some guns...because he knows Joshua likes to hunt. So cute!!!

Lucy was very quiet as we opened gifts. She was just taking it all in. Sophia got a pair of monogrammed Converse.

Joshua got his very own tool kit.

Jake got some books and a game he wanted.

 

Sophia got "the" Barbie she wanted. 

 

And...a little surprise silly string attack after Christmas dinner. :)

Followed by the full on silly string war. I think Joshua had the most fun!!
