Beach Pics....

I love beach pictures. They are my absolute favorite. This year Brenda convinced me to do them in the morning and she was right. They are SO much better. No wind. Beautiful light. I just love them!!

Happy Birthday Joshua!!!

6 years ago we were singing Happy Birthday to this cutie!!!

 

And now we have this big 7 year old!!! Time flies!!! Joshua---you are such a ray of sunshine and a ball of energy!! We love watching you grow!!! Happy Birthday!!!

Cupcakes in the classroom today!!! He was the first one in his class to celebrate a birthday!

 

2nd, 4th and 6th!

Here we go...headed into a new school year. One moving up to Garner...two left at Northwood.

 

We took these pics yesterday. This morning would have been tooooo rushed.

 

It was not all smiles this morning. Joshua had been a little sick over the weekend and did not feel great this morning. And he was nervous about 2nd. Sophia was the only one holding it together!!

She's probably thinking "go ahead and leave mom!!!". She was all smiles headed into Mrs. Smith's room!

 

Not all smiles in Mrs. Guzman's room. Joshua cried and cried but finally let go of me and started to work.

 

 

And these big kids headed off to 6th grade!!!! Time flies!!! Carpool started this morning. It's always good to have friends to walk in with. I rode along this morning too.

 

 

There they go!!! There were several Northwood kids being dropped off at once. So glad they have friends to make the transition easier.

 

 Now I just can't wait until school is out today....hoping they all come home with smiles!!!!

Last Day of Summer and Early Birthday.....

Joshua wanted to go to Top Golf for his birthday outing...so we went yesterday after church. It's a great place for kids. They have so much fun...especially when you get to be on the 3rd floor!

 We had a good time celebrating the last day of summer and Joshua's early birthday!!

 

Beach Trip 2015!

Our annual beach trip with friends is so much fun!! We spent 5 days and 4 nights in the sand. Beautiful weather and lots of laughs!!

The kids and I went to the Texas State Aquarium before heading to our condo.

They have a lot to look at and the kids enjoyed it.

 

 But the beach was calling our name....

And the first trip down to the beach the kids caught a man o war!!! Finola got brushed by the tentacles in several places but was pretty tough.

 

We have to make a stop at the candy store. We went twice this trip!

 The drug the nets for awhile but didn't pull up very much. Several puffer fish and some crabs.

 

 

 Couldn't ask for better friends!! We had so much fun!

 

 

And we saw a lot of dolphins!! They were all over!

 

The beach crew...10 kids...ages 4 to 12. What a fun bunch!!!

 

The "sand castle man" came and did another lesson with us. We made more of a group castle this year.

 

 

These girls...what a threesome. Such strong personalities and great friends.

 

This trip is always so much fun. As they kids get older they help out more and can do more on their own. So thankful for such wonderful families to spend time with!!!
