I've been working on Sew Embellished. Working on some more structured work times....the non stop 'come

on by!!' was really wearing on me. And I also had always thought about a website. So February has brought those 2 big changes! 🎉

Sew Embellished

My new assistant has been working out great and I am excited about where things are headed!! 

   

A tornado in town?!

We never would have believed that our neighborhood would have been hit by a tornado. But it was. The damage to some houses and streets is extreme. Our house is about 2 blocks from the edge of line. We had some very small branches and debris down but no damage. We did lose power for about 18 hours. So many trees were lost. This neighborhood was full of really really old and beautiful trees. 

 

 

Thankfully there were no injuries at all. The city was so quick to help pick up brush. Neighbors all came tougher to help clear and clean up. The NEISD crews were amazing because the school playground was hit unbelievably hard. And Northwood was not the only school hit!! But the playground was clear enough to be open (mostly) at school the next day. 

A sad and scary night but it was amazing to see how much work could be done when people came together to help!!

This and That...

 Joshua cracks me up in the mornings. I wish I was that comfy during breakfast. Maybe I could be if someone was cooking for me each morning!!

And...we officially started Jake on growth hormones. Shots 6 nights a week. The first few were rough but now he is a pro. Praying they kick in and we can see some progress!!

Let's Rodeo!!

We got tickets for the Rodeo....whoever was performing did not really matter!! Kids just like the rodeo part and then walking around the grounds. This year did not disappoint!!

 

One building has a catch and release tank which the boy love!!

Happy Birthday Sophia!!

 

Happy 11th birthday Sophia! We can say you are officially a tween!! You are growing up to be such an amazing person who is caring, smart, responsible and so loving!! 

This special birthday sign was delivered!!

 

And this is the last birthday lunch for Sophia at Northwood. 😢 Always fun spending time with these

two silly girls!!

  

She picked Olive Garden for dinner and then we can back home for cake.

 

And the final birthday celebration was a sleepover with Finola and Rylie. We went to dinner, Putt Putt and then came home so they could play. Finola did not

spend the night because of an early soccer game. But the girls had so much fun together. 

We celebrated a lot for #11 Sophia!!! Can't wait to see what this year has in store for you!! We love you so much.
