Battle of Flowers weekend...

We went to the ranch for the long weekend. Mary, Brad and the kids spent a lot of time out there too. Joshua was to get a turkey...but that didn't work out. Mike did shoot a jack rabbit while he and Joshua were driving around on the dune buggy. Joshua was super excited about that. 

Overall the weekend involved lots of kid arguments....but we did get one pic with all smiles!

Garner Golf....

Jake was on the Garner Golf team again. He loves golf!!! This year the team finished 3rd in the district. It was a 2 day tournament at Olmos Basin. Golf is such a good sport for him. I can't wait to see what golf at Mac brings! :)

Happy Easter!

 No pictures from the Easter Bunny....but he did come this year!!! The morning was spent at church. Jake and Sophia helped out with the taco breakfast with the youth group.

 

And then soon after church we went to Shirley's for an egg hunt and lunch. We did not get a lot of pictures, but the kids had fun!

Ranch Fun...

 The kids and I went to Barb's funeral (which was in Witchita Falls)...and managed to squeeze in some ranch fun on Sunday before we had to head home. We had an epic creek adventure that we had never done before! We walked all the way to the mouth of the creek....and then walked/swam down to the cabin! It was so much fun.

  Look at this cute crew! Lucy is holding a stick that a beaver had chewed on. We're pretty sure we found their dam.

This is the mouth....right before we jumped in and started swimming. Mom was in for the adventure too. We all had a blast. It's always fun to do something new at the ranch!
