Let's Go to Vegas!!

 Mike and I went to Vegas with John and Lisbeth Anne. It was John's birthday and an early anniversary trip for us. We had SO much fun. We rented a Jeep and drove to Hoover Dam.

The kids and I had gone a few year ago but Mike, John and LA had never 

been. It's so beautiful. And we had a perfect weather day!!

 This is inside the Wynn Casino. Everywhere you look it over the top amazing. 

We had brunch at the buffet inside the Wynn. Such a happy place to eat!!! 

 Up until the last night, Mike and I had little luck at the slots. We were having lots of fun....but we were planning to go home empty handed. Until the last night.....when Mike won big at the Homer Simpson machine!!! It's pretty exciting when the attendant comes to you with the cash!!!!! And after that big win, we both kept winning at the slots!!! It was such a fun way to end the trip!!! We went home with a lot more cash than we came with!!!

MLK Weekend....

 MLK weekend we headed to the ranch! Brian, Sharen, Tyler and Ryder and Shirley all came too. We had a full house! The weather was chilly but so pretty! We spent a lot of time outside!

  The kids were "free soloing" in caves along the river.

 

Sharen's dog is Bandera and she loved having all the kids around to play with! 

Lots of drive time in the Can-Am! 

Ranger thought  he could fit in Bandera's bed!!!

We saw the biggest fish ever at the river!!! It was huge!!! And then the kids want to try to shoot it.

Ranger had a blast!!!

He's legal!!

We officially have a 3rd driver in the house!!! Jake took the driving test with Coach Savage, so it only took about an hour at the DPS office to make it completely official!!! My days of being a taxi driver are going to be a thing of the past!!

Goodbye 2019...Hello 2020!!

 We came up to the ranch after Christmas to spend 5 nights. The weather has been beautiful...

a bit cold but overall so pretty!!!

We spent lots of time outside. Mary wanted to clear a new path down to the river.

We had an extra dog in the house....Bill's grand-dog Sherlock was here..

and got lots of attention from the kids!!!

And Ranger had LOTS of ranch fun...including armadillo hunting, creek stomping and river hikes. 

Mary and Brad spent New Year's Eve night at the ranch...so we could all toast in the next decade. Sparkling cider for all!!!! On New Year's Day we went to the big Dillard's sale...which was a little disappointing this year. 

Ringing in a new year is always fun!! Here's hoping 2020 brings lots of happiness and good things for our family.
