Move In Day!!

Our Red Raider ready to move in!!

We drove up on Tuesday morning and were unloading by early afternoon. Looked like a TON of stuff to fit into his side of the room. 

But somehow we managed!

 We spent one night and then helped him in the morning. We bought books, a bike and walked his schedule. Such mixed feelings when we had to leave. But he was happy and ready to be on his own!

Freshman and Junior

Here we go....officially finished with middle school and moving up to high school. First time in ??? years that I didn't need to walk or drive someone to school. It was a weird feeling but I do love having big kids who drive.

Tech Bound

Friends organized a "meet and greet" for all the kids in the area that are headed to Tech. It was a good way for parents to meet and kids to get to know each other a bit better. It's a big group going from our neighborhood/area! 

 

Higher Things

Youth Group went to the Higher Things conference in Bozeman, MT. They decided to fly because it was so far away! Good decision! It was the Willes and 4 Morrisons. I think they had a great time! 

After the conference was over they did some sight seeing around Bozeman. This hike looks beautiful! 

 

Happy Birthday Jake!!

One picture from the big day! Happy 19th!! So hard to believe you're leaving for Tech in a couple weeks! It's such an exciting time and we can't wait to see how this year will be. 

 

Red Raider Orientation.....

Here we go....headed to orientation! 

 Tech did a great job with orientation! It was so well run for both parents and students. And Jake met his roommate Keaton!
