Prom Night

Getting two girls ready for prom requires multiple trips to shop for a dress and shoes, lots of hair products and TONS of makeup. It was so fun watching Sophia and Nicole get ready. They both looked  so beautiful!! They didn't go to Prom together but met up afterwards. 

 

Taylor Swift!!!

Taylor Swift tickets went on sale...and even though the site crashed and it took hours and hours...we got 6 tickets!!! Success!!!! Brittany wanted 2 tickets and we kept 4. We ended up selling 2 tickets for a hefty profit!!! Sophia and Kara went together. I was a bit bummed but ended up being pretty sick so it wouldn't have been super fun for me anyways.

I drove the girls to Houston. I got an Air B&B really close to the stadium. They had so much fun getting ready...lots of sparkle and bling. We followed the trail of sparkle and sequins to the stadium and I dropped them off. It was SO fun to see everyone all dressed up. 

The seats were SO good. They weren't super high and had a straight shot to the stage. The girls said it was so loud they had to shout just to hear each other. Taylor played for 3 hours straight!!!!! Pretty sure it was the best concert that Sophia will ever go to!!!

 Close to the end of the concert, I drove over and parked in a shopping center that was a block away from the stadium. It was FULL of cars, party buses and limos waiting to pick people up. I could hear the music from the parking lot. I can't imagine how loud it was inside!!!! When the concert got out and people started flooding the parking lot, it was the best people watching ever!!! The amount of sequins, glitter, fancy outfits and boots was crazy. 

After a late night, we drove about 30 min away so they could have breakfast with their friend Reese from camp. 

And then we headed home! It was such a fun time. I'm SO glad we were able to get tickets and were able to see the best concert ever. If Taylor goes on tour again...I'm for sure going to be part of the audience!! 

Summa Night...

Sophia has so many senior friends. She went to Summa Night to see them and I went to see Nicole. Each student had to give a quick speech about their favorite teachers. Can't wait to see Sophia up there next year!! 

 

Happy Easter!

I'm trying to make sure we take more family pictures...especially at holidays. Managed to get these after church on Easter Sunday. 

 And even got all the cousins together!
