This and That....

A little bit of this...a little bit of that!! It's been a crazy busy time lately!!!

 

We headed to the ranch for Memorial Day weekend. I tried to unplug and didn't have my phone much, so there aren't many pictures. We did have a great time though. Lots of time spent watching the eagles (so cool!!!!), playing outside, creek stomping and trying out the new ranch truck. Mary and Brad went to Toronto to interview with the church up there so Grant and Lucy were with us. I love to see the 5 kids together.

 

 

Jake has started exercising...and it is so fun to watch. I took this from inside the house so he wouldn't know I was peeking. Running, push ups, some weights....it's the the latest thing!

 

 

 

Our last NPDS Bike Rodeo...and Joshua rocked it!! He was the only one in his class with a big boy 2 wheeler. He rode circles around the other kids (literally)...until a crash ended the fun and he refused to ride anymore. But it was good while it lasted!!

Taylor Swift....

Last night was the big night....and we had SO much fun. It was a fabulous concert. Taylor Swift knows how to put on an incredible show!

 

 

We started with dinner at the Terrace Club. They have a great buffet!!! The girls were so excited...especially about the dessert bar!!

Lots of stuff in the air!! 2 stages....she goes all out for the 2 hour show!

 

 

 

 

So fun to see Sophia having such a good time. It was a night that she will remember!!!

 

 

 And as we were leaving we saw this camo limo...our ride for next time???

 

 

Despite a very very late night, Sophia was up and happy to go to school this morning....wearing her new Taylor Swift shirt (of course). I'm sure she'll crash this afternoon. It was all worth it though!!!

Webelo...

Jake has advanced to the next rank in Cub Scouts....he is now a Webelo! We Be Loyal Scouts. They had the ceremony on Monday night and he was so proud! And so are we!!

Surprise Surprise....

Months and months ago Taylor Swift tickets went on sale. We knew the girls would love to go and worked some magic to get 6 tickets together. We kept it a secret until this weekend. Letters hidden around the playground (spelling out TAYLOR), 3 red bags with matching dresses and headbands. Put them together and you have 3 very excited little girls!!!!! And I think the moms are pretty excited too!! Should be a very fun (and girly) night!

 

 

 

 I just love these dresses!!! They are perfect for the concert. I found them and knew they just need Taylor Swift in red on the top!!! Have I mentioned that I L-O-V-E my new machine. It makes things so much fun!!!

 

Now Sophia is counting down the hours until Wednesday night!!!

Muddy Buddy #3...

It's becoming a tradition to head to Muddy Buddy over Mother's Day weekend with friends to have fun and play in the mud!!! There were 3 families this year...Wille's, Marafioto's and Hanna's. Such good friends and so much fun!!!

And of course we stayed at the Exotic Zoo Resort. Happy to report there were no major animal mishaps this year! A few deer got out of the petting zoo area, but that is minor compared to previous years!!

 

On Mother's Day we packed up early and headed to Salt Lick for lunch. It's a great way to end a wonderful (muddy) weekend!!!

Mother's Day at NPDS....

Ms. Martha always has a wonderful Mother's Day celebration each year. I can't believe this is our last year there!! Joshua was super cute singing "I'm a Little Flower" and presenting me with all the sweet things they had made. If only he had cooperated enough to take a picture with me!!!
