Soccer...feels like we are living on the fields these days. Sophia has 2 practices a week. Joshua has 1. And most weekends they each have a game. Whew!!! It's a lot of soccer!!! Sophia's team moved up this year to the Fire division. It's more competitive, more practices, they work on positions more. It's been great. They have a trainer that works really well with the girls. Sophia is working hard and getting better and better!!
And how about a little hail to make a Monday more interesting??? The skies opened up and it hailed like crazy!!! We hopped in the truck to pick up Jake from tutoring. Wowzas!!!!
The big excitement this week was TWO field trips. Joshua has been waiting and waiting for his turn to ride on a bus. He was so excited. Kinder went to the Magik Children's Theater to see Llama Llama. It was one of the best plays we have seen there. Really good.
He was waiting to get on the bus. Excitement level (and the sun) were both very high!!!
Joshua and his little buddy Jake waiting for the play to start.
And then it was Sophia's turn for a field trip. Second grade went to Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch.
Another good field trip. They give an hour tour around the grounds and then an hour ride through the actual ranch.
Last stop was the Petting Zoo. Some crazy goats in there!!
And lastly...Sophia and Grammy baked and decorated this cake for the Carnival Cake Contest tomorrow. She has high hopes of winning!!!
