Fun with friends....

We went out with Brittany to her parents house in McQueeney for some good fun and "ranch" fun. Her parents have been through so much and I thought it would be fun to spend the day with them and visit. Her mom is a great cook!!! The kids ate...and ate...and ate.

 

Then headed outside for some brush collecting (a big storm the night before had knocked down a lot of branches!!!), some baseball and cow fun.  

 

 

Berkeley called the cows in for some "cow cookies" This is Big Red....and it got up close and personal with Sophia.  

 

We had such a fun time with them. Brittany's mom really enjoyed having all the kids around.

Battle of Flowers Parade!!

 This year Brittany and I decided to take all 6 kids to the parade. We got great bleacher seats by the Alamo. We parked close by and it was pretty easy!!

 

The picture of Cortland and Sophia (above)....made me think of this one from when they were 3 years old. How times have changed!!! :)

 

Berkeley was taking a time out to fan herself.

 

 

We had a great time. The weather was almost perfect. Not too hot and just a little bit of sun!

Arrow of Light....

Jake earned his Arrow of Light at Cub Scout last night. This is the highest award that a Cub Scout can earn before they move on to Boy Scouts. Jake has decided that he does not want to continue so this is the last event he will be a part of. Mike has been the Den Leader for all 5 years and they have had a lot of fun. It's such a good group of boys!! They did a slide show of the past 5 years and the boys were so little when they started!!!! We are proud of all his hard work!!!!

Ranch + Cousins = FUN!!!!

For the first time ever, all the Wille dads took the kids to the ranch for the weekend. Everyone but Vivienne. Let's take a minute to think about that....Mike AND all 3 kids at the ranch...means an empty house for me!!! 48 hrs of quiet!! I think this is a win-win situation!!!

It was Christopher's birthday so they headed up for some cousin time. They took a long hike. They made the "Wille Boy Trail" which later turned into the "Wille Kid Trail" so Sophia could be included.

 

LOTS of time spent on the swing set. Sophia's shoulders were sore from so many flips!

Does this picture spell trouble or what???? 4 boys....two 6 year olds, a 4 and a 3 year old. Eeeeek!!! So much trouble but so much fun!

So glad they had a fun weekend. And I'll be honest...my time here was pretty nice. I worked almost the whole time and was able to get through a lot of orders!

Volleyball....

Sophia is trying volleyball this spring. There is a group of Northwood girls on a team together. Pretty cute if you ask me!!! The first practice was great! She missed the first game so she's excited about the one this weekend!

We headed to Brenda's for their annual Egg Hunt. Not quite as many people this year but still lots of fun!

I love how all 3 kids have the same expression....concentrating on opening eggs!

 

 

After Brenda's we headed to Shirley's for one last egg hunt and family dinner. A very full and tiring day but so much fun.
