Trying to keep kids busy and wear them out....every day! :) Lots of time at the pool. Christopher came with us the other day.
On Friday we took a little family trip to Salt Lick for BBQ....delicious as always!! And then we drove to Perdenales Falls State Park. It was our first time there so we weren't sure what to expect!
Lots of people!!! This was the "falls area" and you could not swim or wade.
And then we got the bikes out to do some trail riding. This trail turned out to be way too hard. We ended up going on a horseback riding trail which was easier, but the kids still had some trouble. We did see a grey fox hunting in an open field which was really cool. He did not seem to care that we were watching....he was looking for something to eat!
After the bike ride we walked down to the swimming hole. We didn't bring our suits but it was nice to sit with our feet in the water. The place reminded me of The Blue Hole in Wimberley....but the water was much much warmer!
