We started off the VA trip with a big surprise. The kids thought we were packed for the ranch, going to the airport to pick up Mary, Brad and the kids...and then we were headed to the ranch for Cousin Camp. In the airport parking lot, Mom and I surprised them and told them we were really going on a 9 night trip to VA. The kids were beyond excited. It was such a fun surprise!!
We had a smooth flight and didn't get to Mary and Brad's until about 9:00 that night.
The next morning we went to Coffee and Cars...basically a bunch of people bringing thier fancy cars to show off as people walk around. Kids got to sit in a Tesla!
Mary and Brad's house has the most beautiful view!!! ❤️
We went on a hike down to the Potomac to swim. Quite the hike down!!! Kids got to splash around...until a Park Ranger told us it was not allowed. Oops!
Grant and Sophia made several meals for us. They were quite the chefs cooking for 9 people!!
