First camping trip....

Mike took Jake this past weekend to Devil's River for his first real camping trip. Mike's brothers went too. When the boys were growing up, Mike's dad and friend had a deer lease there. So, the boys grew up going there a lot. Now they're renewing the tradition!!

I was worried Jake would get scared, not like sleeping in a tent...etc. And, with no cell phone service there, I'd have no way of knowing how he was doing until they were on the way home!

But, Jake had a great time. He loved all of it. They hiked, fished, looked at nature...all the guy things you should do when camping. No issues sleeping in the tent...he was too tired each night to care. This morning Jake was telling Sophia all the things that she could do when she goes with them next time!
