One day Mary and I took all 4 kids to a drive through safari place in Glen Rose, which is about an hour from the ranch. The kids loved it. They had lots of animals and most of them would come up to the car. 
The best part....3 out of 4 sleepers on the way home!! And Jake was quiet in the way back. A day well spent!!!!

That picture is classic for many reasons, but the main reason would totally be the "grrr" purse.

It's about an hour from the ranch. It's a great place...pricey though. Adults are abotu $22 and kids are $17!!!! It was $104 for our carload (with a bag of food added in too!).
What day did ya'll go to Fossil Rim? We were in Glen Rose Wed - Fri last week. We did Fossil Rim on Thur. FYI - If you have a Dallas Zoo membership you get half price admission.
